Carefully maintained since the 17th-century in full respect of the historical, natural and cultural heritage, the estate of the Gardini Rossi Ciampolini family stretches from the woods of the Parco della Magona, a remarkable example of Mediterranean vegetation, to the great, shady pinewoods that run along the sea, taking in a peaceful, sun-baked countryside covered by ancient olives that produce extra-virgin oil of the highest quality, chosen for the Nobel Banquet in 2006,Ā fine vineyards, and wheat-fields that alternate with green pastures where wild Chianina cows graze.
The 580-hectare estate includes three 19th-century buildings that have all been lovingly restored:
POGGIO CORNETTO, in 1995 - GINESTRICCIO in 2000, and SANT'ELENA in 2008.
